If ETH quantity rises 5% while its price falls 5%, valuation falls 0.25% before costs. When choosing a reward product, check both how many coins accumulate and when you can recover which assets. Matching those questions lets you compare a displayed reward with changes in your own money.

Separate the reward number from recoverable balance

A Trust Wallet unstaking question on 8 October reports missing visible rewards and a pending withdrawal. The post presents 10ETH and 0.5ETH as “for example.” They are not verified balances or recovery results; here they help distinguish displayed, accrued and recoverable states.

Check staked principal, accrued rewards, requested withdrawal quantity, pending withdrawal, currently claimable quantity and quantity received in the wallet separately. A final screen showing only principal does not by itself establish lost rewards; displayed accrual does not establish immediate access either. Contract, provider and claim conditions sit between those states.

A model in which 10ETH becomes 10.5ETH

Assume an initial 10ETH at 2,000USDT per ETH, followed by a holding of 10.5ETH. The 5% is this model's quantity increase, not an annual return or a current product APR. Prices and a total 20USDT recovery-and-sale cost are also assumptions. The after-cost row assumes all 10.5ETH is recovered and sold at 1,900USDT per ETH, then 20 is deducted from proceeds. Other costs and cashflows are excluded; other rows show valuation before sale.

StateQuantity × assumed priceValuation or proceedsVersus initial 20,000
Initial10×2,00020,000USDTBaseline
Quantity +5%, same price10.5×2,00021,000USDT+5% before costs
Quantity +5%, price −5%10.5×1,90019,950USDT−0.25% before costs

Quantity +5%, price +5%10.5×2,10022,050USDT+10.25% before costs

Combine quantity and price effects by multiplication: 1.05×0.95−1=−0.25%, or 1.05×1.05−1=+10.25%. Rewards can increase valuation alongside a rising price, but may not offset a fall. Actual period, recovery price and fees are needed to state an actual net return.

Staking, lending and Launchpool have different claims

RouteBasis of reward or interestConditions before recovery
Ethereum stakingValidation participation; provider route for poolsValidator state, provider contract, queue and claim method
Aave V3 supplyInterest from demand to borrow supplied assetsAvailable liquidity, collateral state and network cost
Bitget LaunchpoolNew-token distributions for designated depositsSpecific pool period, cap, eligibility, redemption terms and reward asset

Ethereum's staking explanation requires at least 32ETH to activate a solo validator, while pools allow smaller participation. Rewards, penalties and slashing conditions apply, with provider risk added in pools. Do not directly map a 10ETH wallet example onto solo-validator withdrawal rules.

Aave V3's overview describes aTokens; its supply guide describes interest varying with borrowing demand and utilization. Its withdrawal guide requires available liquidity; assets backing active borrowing must also meet health-factor conditions. Network costs and contract risk mean this is not a fixed bank-deposit payment promise.

Bitget's Launchpool guide describes depositing designated assets such as BGB to earn new tokens. Check pool-specific caps, estimated APR, eligibility and redemption terms. “No additional staking or claiming fee” does not remove asset-purchase costs, falling prices or withdrawals.

Which ETH withdrawal rules apply?

Trust Wallet's current ETH guide describes a Kiln pool route, a 0.025ETH minimum, variable rewards and an approximately four-day minimum locking interval. That is not a guarantee of recovering the questioner's rewards in four days. First identify the route and contract's unstaking and claiming state.

If operating a validator directly, Ethereum's withdrawal explanation distinguishes credentials: 0x01 automatically withdraws balances above 32ETH; compounding 0x02 distinguishes automatic withdrawals above 2,048ETH from manual partial withdrawals below it. There is no single schedule automatically delivering all rewards to every wallet, and a pool user's redemption procedure differs again.

Record five things before choosing a reward

First record the asset deposited and the asset earned. An ETH-reward model and a pool accepting BGB while distributing another token face different prices. Do not add quantities of different reward tokens and call the result “my 5% return.” Record each quantity, valuation price and reporting currency.

Then add the period, meaning of the displayed rate, recovery conditions and total costs. An estimated annualized figure is not a guaranteed payment over a short interval. Separating currently claimable quantity from actual receipt helps keep unrecovered rewards out of realized cash profit.

Read first-trade terms and net profit for valuation versus realized profit, then the withdrawal route for costs of moving assets out. In the blank record, pair reward and fee assets with quantities and recovery times.
